Highlights of the New GONE
In the New GONE website we first help the user understand any deficiencies in optic nerve examination. This is done by providing the user a baseline self-evaluation optic disc test consisting of 15 optic disc images. The during the test, users will be asked 9 questions about the individual features of the disc and then a final question will be asked regarding the glaucoma likelihood. Following the baseline test, any deficiencies in the examination of certain aspects of optic nerve will be highlighted.
Targeted teaching will be provided to help improve the deficiencies highlighted in the baseline test.
Users can continue to improve examination skills by repeating the self-evaluation test.
When user is confident in all aspects of the disc evaluation, you can take the Certification test which consist of 42 disc images. At the end of the test the user will see how he or she performs and can choose to receive a Certificate of completion from GONE.
